Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 Oct 2026

Faseeel is a neutral platform for debates. This page explains what we collect, what we show, and what we never do with it.

In short

  • We never sell your personal data. We don't rent it or trade it. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't follow you across sites.
  • What you contribute is public by default. Your display name, comments and votes can be seen by anyone, including search engines.
  • Your real name and email stay private. Other people only ever see the display name you choose.

What is public

Everything you contribute is public by default and may be shown with your display name:

  • your display name;
  • your comments;
  • your votes on who won a debate, with their reasons, and your verdicts on conditions and on people's credibility.

Public pages can be copied, cached or indexed by others, so assume anything you post may stay visible elsewhere even after you remove it here.

Your score sheets (the fallacies and points you note while watching a debate) are private to you for now. If that changes, we will say so here first.

What we keep private

  • From your sign-in: when you sign in with Google, Facebook or TikTok, we receive your name, your email address (if the service shares it), a link to your profile picture and an account identifier from that service. If you sign up with an email and password, we keep your name, your email and a one-way hash of your password, never the password itself.
  • Your sessions: a record of each signed-in device, so you stay signed in.

We use this only to run your account. We never show it publicly and never sell it.

Cookies

We only use cookies the site needs:

  • a session cookie that keeps you signed in;
  • your color scheme, if you choose one;
  • a short-lived, encrypted cookie while you sign in with Google, Facebook or TikTok.

Technical data

To protect the site from abuse, we use your IP address to limit how many requests can come from it. These limits are kept in memory, not stored. Our servers may also log requests and errors for a short time to keep the site secure and working.

Services we rely on

  • Hosting: our servers are with Contabo, in the European Union.
  • Storage: images and backups are kept with Cloudflare R2.
  • Network and visit counts: pages reach you through Cloudflare, which also counts visits (pages viewed, load times, country, browser) without cookies and without identifying you.
  • Sign-in: if you use Google, Facebook or TikTok to sign in, that service knows you used it to sign in here, under its own privacy policy.
  • Videos: debate videos are embedded from YouTube. Their preview images load from YouTube (Google), which receives your IP address. The player loads only when you play a video, and YouTube may then set its own cookies.

These services handle data on our behalf, or under their own policies for their part.

How long we keep data

We keep your account data for as long as you have an account. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data, and your contributions are either deleted or kept without your name, as you choose. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct it;
  • delete your account and personal data;
  • stop using your data for anything other than running your account.

Write to [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days. You can change your display name yourself at any time.

Children

Faseeel is not meant for children. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country, to create an account.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and announce important changes on the site before they apply.
